Have you ever thought about becoming an online language teacher? Online teaching has many advantages – you can save precious commuting time, have your “office” directly at home and get to know people from all over the world.
But there are also some difficulties to face- at the beginning it might seem hard to communicate over the internet, especially considering the language and cultural barriers between students and teachers.
For a successful start in our online teaching team, we would like to share our experience and helpful tips with prospective teachers on this blog. Future topics will include; How do I create a teaching environment that is both enjoyable for the student as well as the teacher? How do I handle and avoid cultural based misunderstandings? etc.
Also, we’d like to introduce you some of our teachers and their experiences working with us. Most of all, we’d like to let you be a part of our daily office life.
We hope that this blog can support teachers from all over the world and be a platform that allows teachers to exchange ideas about how to teach.
